Our original building was extended to add further facilities to the home. We have 2 lounges and 2 dining rooms, an activity room, 18 single bedrooms and 8 en-suite bathrooms as well as ample bathroom facilities and French doors leading to an outside patio and garden space, which can be enjoyed by all residents.
All bedrooms are single occupancy; 8 of which are en-suite. All of the 26 bedrooms are decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard and residents are encouraged to add their own personal touch.
Both lounges have fireplaces and are decorated and furnished to create a feeling of warmth and homeliness and both dining rooms are decorated to a high standard and are also used for social occasions e.g., Birthday Parties, Buffets, Religious Services, and entertaining residents' relatives.
Additional Facilities and Services
- Podiatry – A Podiatrist visits the home on request and as required
- Optician – An optician visits the home once per year or as required.
- Dentist – is requested in response to resident need or residents are enabled to attend their own dentist.
- Religious Services – held in the home several times per year, the Eucharistic Minister visits weekly and some residents attend church weekly.
- Dietician - A Dietician visits the home on request and as required
- The Hairdresser visits the home on request.
